Course objectives
The course is closely linked with the study of pedagogical and didactic disciplines, but also with the study of specialization studies. The aim is for the students to acquire or deepen practical skills and competences in the implementation and use of (online) digital technologies in education. Students are prepared for work in non-profit organizations, state educational and training institutions, out-of-school institutions, or school administration or consulting companies.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- apply professional knowledge and skills in the field of pedagogy, didactics and ICT in solving problems within a given position where the practical training takes place;
- be familiar with the basic (legal or other) regulations that define the position and functioning of the organization;
- master the basics of working at the level of a designated role in a particular institution;
- estimate the complexity and nature of work in a given position.
Syllabus
  • 1. Under the guidance of the guarantor (the employee of the organization in which the student will be doing the practical training) the student will be introduced in a comprehensive way to the daily work of the institution/department and the work in the relevant position where the student will be placed.
  • 2. The student is expected to be able to deal with not only routine organizational or content-related tasks, but also to gain the technical knowledge and learn the procedures in a particular organization.
  • 3. The student is expected to gradually carry not only the assigned tasks, but also (upon agreement with the guarantor of the practical training) to apply their own ideas.
  • 4. Gradually learn to work independently not only within the organization but also in the field (for example giving assistance in carrying out certain activities outside the institution, etc.).
  • 5. At the end of the practical training, the student’s work is evaluated by the guarantor of the training who points out the student’s strengths and possibly recommends improvements in student’s work in the future.
