Educational Background: B.A. (Kenyon College); M.A. (University of Texas at Dallas); Ph.D. (University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee) Art Redding has written about various American literary and cultural figures, from Emma Goldman to Kathy Acker. His Raids on Human Consciousness: Writing, Anarchism, and Violence was published in 1998 by the University of South Carolina Press, and he is currently completing a manuscript on ghosts and the gothic in contemporary US literature. Professor Redding taught in our Department here in Brno for several years in the mid-1990s.
