- Cíle předmětu
- The aim of this course is to introduce current trends in sport psychology and human movement studies. The primary focus will be on motor learning, evidence-based applied sport psychology, neurophysiology, skill acquisition, and cognitive aspects of sport psychology. At the end of the course, students should be able to critically evaluate research studies and use the gained knowledge as a stepping-stone to further explore the topic of research sport psychology and human movement in general

- 1.Introduction to the content of the course and literature, recommendation for students. Current topics in sport psychology. 2.Introduction to human physiology. Neurophysiology. 3.Statistics. The role of numbers in sport psychology 4.Motor learning and control. Theories in motor learning. Implicit and explicit learning. Quiet eye. 5.Memory. The role of memory in motor skill learning and motor control. Neuroscientific aspects of motor learning. 6.Augmented feedback in skill acquisition 7.Evidence-based sport psychology interventions 8.Doing research in sport psychology and human movements studies.

- Metody hodnocení
- Students will be required to complete three online quizzes during the course and write an essay on a self-chosen topic. The course will be completed with a final test consisting of 50 questions (70% of them will be selected from the three online quizzes). The deadlines and the specific requirements will be discussed in the first lecture.
