- The course will be dedicated to major European and world theories of translation (St. Jerome, Martin Luther, Etienne Dolet, Friedrich Schleiermacher, Jean-Paul Vinay - Jean Darbelnet, Roman Jacobson, Eugene Nida, Georges Mounin,Jiří Levý, Danica Seleskovitch,Marianne Lederer, Katharina Reiss, Hans Vermeer, Christiane Nord, Itamar Even-Zohar, Gideon Toury, A. Pym, L. Venuti).
