Course objectives
The student will be able to understand the language of professional sound studies after completing the course. He will understand the individual requirements for the quality and nature of the material. He will know the technical and time demands and approximate value of the work in the sound studio. He will be able to specify requirements for sound engineer and sound master based on client's tasks. He will be able to mediate between the performer, the sound studio and the director.
Learning outcomes
Student will understand after the course:
the way of work leading to the production of multichannel sound recording (reportage with sound background, musical composition, multichannel audio production (5.1, 7.1) in terms of editing, basic mix and exporting to final formats
various sound applications (image, video, animation, computer game, sound capture outside the studio space [interior, exterior] using portable recording equipment, theater, fine art, performance, art installation, etc.)
the sequence of steps from recording to application to different media
will be able to read and control assignments for studio work, recording, technical requirements of the clients, technical requirements of the end user or producers of carriers
will be able to determine the approximate technical and personnel intensity, at the same time the time and financial costs of individual projects,
therefore, based on technical requirements, he will be able to create a time and financial balance sheet and to distribute work to a technician, sound engineer and other studio staff.

Teaching methods
Practice in directing, in the hall and outside of the studio and also in facilities following the work of sound directing.
Assessment methods
Final work in the sound laboratory and in exterior, organizing technology and work in the sound laboratory and making audio recording. Making an audio recording in the exterior based on the assignment. Creating a stageplan and connection based on situation requirements. Creating the final basic audio medium (output track list, description, format).
