Cíle předmětu
In the seminar, methodological approaches such as the history of discourse and the cultural history of the political, which have become increasingly important in recent historical research, are to be practised more intensively for the in-depth examination of the problem of National Socialism in the Second Republic in Austria.
The aim is to establish comparative links between the cultures of remembrance in Austria and Czechoslovakia/Czech Republic after 1945 and to analyse similarities and differences in dealing with the legacy of National Socialism in both countries.
