Course objectives
The main aims of the course are to become familiar with the flora and vegetation of a selected area of the Czech Republic and to carry out excursions with external lecturers.
Learning outcomes
After this excursion students should be able: - to know selected basic and critical species of the Czech flora; - to know basic informations about ecology and plant geography of the visited area and observed species; - to contact regional experts and/or taxonomical specialists.
Syllabus
Natural conditions of investigated area. History of botanical research. Bibliography. Field works. Evening lectures and discussions about interesting founds.
