- Course Enrolment Limitations
- The course is also offered to the students of the fields other than those the course is directly associated with.
- fields of study / plans the course is directly associated with
- Mathematical Biology (programme PřF, B-EXB)
- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students should be able to use the computer algebra system Maple to solve the multivariate calculus problems.
- Syllabus
- Differential calculus of functions of several variables, partial derivatives, differential.
- Extrema of functions of several variables.
- Integral calculus of functions of several variables. Double and triple integrals, integrals depending on parameter.
- Infinite series, criteria convergence.
- Absolute convergence of series.
- Literature
