Anotace
The Thesis Advisory Committee (TAC) is a mandatory part of doctoral studies. It serves to continuously monitor academic progress in collaboration with external experts. The TAC is responsible for overseeing the development of the dissertation project, providing expert guidance, and supporting both the student and the supervisor.
Výstupy z učení
The TAC should meet at least three times during the regular duration of the PhD candidate’s studies. A TAC meeting can be initiated by the student, the supervisor, the chair of the doctoral board, or a person authorized by the chair. All meetings are mandatory and must take place at specific times. The PhD candidate is responsible for inviting TAC members, organizing the meetings, and uploading the signed TAC Assessment Reports.

Způsob ověření výstupů z učení a požadavky na ukončení
The course must be registered in the semester in which the TAC meeting takes place and the fully completed and signed report must be submitted by the end of the exam period of the given semester. After each TAC meeting, students must complete a TAC Assessment Report. The necessary documents can be downloaded here: https://www.ncbr.muni.cz/pro-studenty/doktorske-studium/experimentalni-biologie-rostlin. The completed report must be uploaded to the Homework Vault under “ISXX TAC ExPBio Meeting” no later than 14 days after the TAC meeting. If the confidential part of the TAC report is uploaded at least 14 days before the meeting, please notify the PhD coordinator by email. Credits are awarded by the course lecturers (Petra Procházková Schrumpfová or Martin Lysák).
Náhradní absolvování
The course can also be completed outside the examination period. The course is taught each semester.
