Course objectives
Practical exercises on chlorophyll fluorescence measuring devices. At the end of the course students will be able to choose a suitable method for measuring it and practically implement the selected plant material.
Syllabus
  • Practical exercises using modern techniques aimed at measuring task, the focus is pozníní and practice the following areas of application-induced chlorophyll fluorescence in vivo: (1) Basic fluorescence ratio as an indicator of stress in PS II (2) Effective quantum yield of photochemical processes in PS II (3) Inductive effect: fast kinetics of chlorophyll fluorescnce (4) Inductive effect: Slow (Kautsky) kinetita chlorophyll fluorescence (5) and photochemical quenching of chlorophyll fluorescence nefotochemické (6) Energy quenching of chlorophyll fluorescence (7) Fotoinhibiční quenching of chlorophyll fluorescence (8) Imaging fluorescecnce chlorophyll (Chl fluorescence imaging) (9) Indication of the impact of blocking electron transport thalakoidní chloroplast membrane (10) Indication of the impact of toxic substances on the function of photosystem II (11) Indication of the impact of sub-optimal temperatures supra-function on PS II (12) Indication fotoinhibice influence on the function of PS II
