Degree programme objectives

The bachelor's degree program aims to provide students with comprehensive professional, pedagogical, and methodological education in the field of physical education, sports, and physical activities, in the educational context. The program lays the foundation for follow-up master's studies in physical education teaching while also enabling employment in informal and extracurricular education, sports, and leisure activities.

The program supports the integration of theoretical knowledge in the fields of kinesiology, pedagogy, psychology, and physical education and sports didactics with practical skills. Emphasis is placed on the ability to plan, implement, and evaluate physical education activities, respect the individual needs of participants, and promote a healthy lifestyle. The program also develops pedagogical, communication, and social skills, an understanding of ethical and safety issues, and basic language skills for working with professional literature.

This form allows for comprehensive verification of the graduate's theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and professional readiness, reflects current trends in higher education, and prepares students for their professional careers and further study.

The program is primarily intended for students interested in physical education, sports, and education. Graduates of the program are characterized by a balanced profile of professional, practical, and pedagogical competencies, the ability to reflect on their own learning, and readiness for further professional and academic development.
