Anotace

La manifestation de la mondialisation dans le lexique de plusieurs langues mérite d'etre étudiée. Un projet en ce sens a été lancé a l'automne 2011 et porte actuellement sur le français, le grec, le polonais et le tcheque. Ce projet releve de nouveaux emprunts effectués par une seule ou par plusieurs langues du groupe constitué (et combien et lesquelles), avec le moment ou ils apparaissent (simultanément ou avec un décalage temporel, leurs parcours : voie directe ou par le biais d'autres langues que celle d'origine...), les éventuels équivalents créés dans telle ou telle langue pour les concurrencer, ainsi que les familles dérivationnelles qui peuvent apparaître. Cette recherche s'inscrit dans la suite d'un premier travail exposé au congres LTT de Lisbonne en 2009 et paru en 2011 : dire que on line est emprunté en grec comme en français reste insuffisant, si on ne dit pas aussi que le calque en ligne est dix fois plus employé (d'apres les archives de Libération et le nombre de pages donné par des moteurs de recherche). Une vingtaine d'emprunts relevés en français sont en cours d'examen dans les autres langues concernées par le projet : binge drinking, car jacking, crowfunding, m-shopper, etc. D'autres, relevés dans telle ou telle langue comme finisaz en polonais, se sont ajoutés a la liste initiale. Le présent article en traite six: chick flick, cloud computing, finisaz, free mover, go fast et home jacking. La démarche comparative mettra en valeur des faits sociaux propres a chacune des communautés linguistiques ainsi que l'attitude de leurs locuteurs face aux mots venus d'ailleurs (accueil, ignorance, remplacement pas des néologismes autochtones).

Článek představuje mezinárodní výzkumný projekt v oblasti lexikologie, který si klade za cíl srovnávání nových vývojových tendencí ve francouzském, řeckém, polském a českém lexiku a měření "propustnosti" těchto jazyků vůči cizím vlivům. Náplní projektu je sledování výpůjček, které se nově objevují ve všech zmíněných jazycích, zkoumání jejich šíření, frekvence, používání, sémantických, fonetických, morfologických a jiných posunů a podrobné studium nově vzniklých či starších konkurenčních domácích ekvivalentů. V současné době je analyzováno přibližně dvacet výpůjček, článek podrobněji představuje šest z nich: chick flick, cloud computing, finisaz, free mover, go fast a home jacking.

Globalisation makes an impact on the lexicon of all modern languages and the way which this occurs deserves closer study. To explore one aspect of this topic, a project was undertaken in the autumn of 2011 in view to studying loans and their equivalents in French, Greek, Polish and Czech. The aim is to examine new loans in one or more of the languages of the group. Firstly the number of languages concerned is determined (how many languages are concerned, and which of them) and just when they first appear, which may be simultaneously or only after a certain lapse of time. Then their vector is determined to ascertain whether are they adopted directly or through another language, as well as the native-language equivalents which may be created in one or other of the languages to compete with the loanword. Finally all the derivations which it may spawn are taken into consideration. This project is the continuation of an initial study presented at the LTT conference in Lisbon in 2009 and published in 2011. It was pointed out that it does not mean much to claim for example that on line has been borrowed by both Greek and French, is not qualified by the proviso that the loan translation en ligne was ten times more frequent in the Liberation archives of the time, confirmed by various search-engines. Around twenty loanwords now current in French are being studied in the other languages in the project: binge drinking, car jacking, crowfunding, m-shopper, etc. Others, which appear in some other language, such as finisaz in Polish, have been added to the original list. This article deals with six of these: chick flick, cloud computing, finisaz, free mover, go fast and home jacking. A comparative approach brings out the social aspects peculiar to each language community, in particular the attitude of speakers to borrowed words: to accept, to ignore or to replace them with native coining.
