In diesem Beitrag wird die Raum- und Zeitverteilung, Fluchgattungen, Fluchformeln und Spezifika der überlieferten lateinischen Fluchtexte aus einzelnen römischen Provinzen besprochen. Die lateinischen tabellae defixionum, haben in den letzten Jahrzehnten große Aufmerksamkeit unter den Gelehrten erregt. Bei archäologischen Ausgrabungen sind zahlreiche Neufunde ans Licht gekommen, ein neues, modernes Korpus lateinischer defixiones ist nach mehr als hundert Jahren dank Amina Kropp erschienen, und schließlich verdanken wir auch vor allem Henk Versnel und Roger Tomlin die klare Unterscheidung einer neuen Kategorie unter den Fluchtexten, nämlich der Bitten um Gerechtigkeit. Ich möchte also einen analytischen Blick auf die überlieferten lateinischen Fluchinschriften bieten. Die Analyse der ins Blei geritzten Texte ermöglicht es, raumspezifische Zusammenhänge, inhaltliche Übereinstimmungen und Differenzen, Häufigkeit der angewendeten Fluchformeln, angebeteter Gottheiten und Dämonen, das Benützen von magischen Wörtern und graphischem magischen Apparat, sowie Verhältnisse zwischen Fluchgattung und dem Ziel des Schreibers bei der gesamten Überlieferung festzustellen. Bei meiner Analyse habe ich auch versucht, die möglichen Zusammenhänge der Fluchformeln und der "bösen Wünsche", bzw. die Ziele der Schreiber bei Flüchen und bei den Bitten um Gerechtigkeit zu vergleichen.

Příspěvek se zabývá distribucí typů kleteb, užitých formulí a specifickými rysy dochovaných latinských kleteb a proseb o spravedlnost z jednotlivých provincií římského impéria v čase a prostoru.

This contributio deals with the distribution of curse types and curse formulas and the specific features of the surviving Latin curse tablets in the various provinces of the Roman Empire in time and space. The Latin tabellae defixionum represent a special kind of epigraphic documents, the number of which has increased significantly over the last decades. A new modern corpus of Latin curse tablets was published by Amina Kropp, and a new category within the curse types has been recognized – the so-called prayers for justice. The analysis of these texts written on sheets of lead enables us to see the areas with specific connections, correspondences and differences in the content of the curse text, the frequency and types of used formulas, invoked deities and daemons, the application of magical words and special graphic features, which help us find out the relations between the curse type and the aim of the writer in the whole Latin curse tradition. In this analysis of a total of 309 quite undamaged and intelligible curse texts I have also tried to compare the possible relationsbetwen the curse formulas and the "bad wishes" – or targets of the curse writers in the cases of curses and prayers of justice.
