Specifické poruchy učení jsou předmětem neustálé pozornosti speciálních pedagogů, učitelů i rodičovské veřejnosti. Uvádíme výsledky dvou výzkumných šetření, ve kterých sledujeme vztah respondentů k matematice a případové studie, ve kterých jsme zkoumali, jak dyskalkuliue ovlivnila výběr profese a jak je ovlivňuje v běžném životě. Dále uvádíme možnosti, jak rozvíjet matematickou a finanční gramotnost osob s dyskalkulií.

Specific learning disabilities have been the focus of attention of special educators, teachers and parents. We present results od research, the quantitative research survey was focused on respondents relationship ro mathematics, qualitative research present to find out how the dyscalculia affected their vocational selection and huw it influences their everyday life. There are present the basic notions of mathematical literacy and financial literacy and examples of certain impediments that can disadvantage persons with dyscalculia.
