Les relations entre François Mauriac (1885-1970) et Jean Cocteau (1889-1963) s'étendent sur plus d'un demi-siècle. En dépit de leurs complètes différences (style de vie, conceptions du monde, univers poétique) et même s'ils se sont parfois violemment affrontés, ils étaient réunis par la même sensibilité, la fragilité d’une âme tendre et vulnérable. Chacun d’eux restera toujours lié au territoire de son enfance, aux paysages de ses premières expériences. Nous dirigeons nos recherches concernant la création de Jean Cocteau vers sa vie à Paris, quand il avait vécu dans le quartier de la Madeleine et du Palais Royal, dont les arcades, les ombres, les lumières et les fantômes d'un riche passé garderont toujours les traces de Jean Cocteau ; nous essayerons de dévoiler certains secrets liés à cet endroit par l’intermédiaire du roman La Fin du Potomak et le poème Léone. Nous avons présenté les résultats de nos recherches au cours du colloque a Malagar le 10 mai 2013.

Vztahy François Mauriaka (1885-1970) a Jeana Cocteaua (1889-1963) zabírají dobu více než půl století. Navzdory jejich naprosté odlišnosti (životní styl, pojetí světa, poetický svět), a dokonce i navzdory jejich několika prudkým střetům, je spojovala stejná citlivost, křehkost něžné a zranitelné duše. Každý z nich zůstal úzce spojen s územím svého dětství, s krajinou prvních poznání. Svá bádání a rešerše zaměříme, pokud jde o tvrobu Jeana Cocteaua, na dobu, kdy žil v Paříži, ve čtvrti Madeleine a v Palais Royal, jehož arkády, stíny, světla a přízraky bohaté minulosti nadále skrývají stopy Jeana Cocteaua; pokusíme se odhalit některá tajemství spojená s těmito místy prostřednictvím románu La Fin du Potomak a básně Léone. Výsledky našich rešerší jsme představili na konferenci v Malagaru dne 10. května 2013.

Relations between François Mauriac (1885-1970) and Jean Cocteau (1889-1963) span more than half a century. Despite their total character differences (lifestyle, imaginary, literature universe etc.) and even if both sometimes violently clashed, they were met by the same sensitivity, the fragility of a tender and vulnerable soul. Each of them will always be linked to the territory of his childhood, the landscapes of his early experiences. We would stay in this area of the Madeleine and the Palais Royal, whose arcades, shadows, lights, and the ghosts of a rich past always keep traces of Jean Cocteau, we will try to reveal some secrets related to this place by through the novel the End of the Potomac and the poem Leone. The results of our researches we presented at a conference at the University of Malagar of 10 May 2013.
