The term system called "Simple sentence" includes terms naming the distinctive features of a simple sentence, types of simple sentences, terms, ranging parts of the sentence into classes and describing relations between them. The analyzed data taken from "Russian Grammar" consist of approximately 180 terms.Description of the term system allows to uncover its systematic character, to see notional, word-building and structural relations of terms.
