Its advantage consists in sufficient lateral resolution (in order of tens um) and low detection limits (in range of ones mg/kg). In presented work, the elemental mapping granitic sample originated from Bohemian massif is presented. New analytical software – Laser Ablation Tool was used for data treatment and its utilization for elemental map creation is described. For quantification purposes two quantification methods were utilized - total sum of signals of isotopes and external calibration with internal standard normalization. We discuss their advantages and drawbacks for quantification purposes of heterogeneous samples. ER -
