Der Artikel untersucht die Veränderungen der religiösen Kunst im Zeitalter der josephinischen Reformen. Es beschreibt allgemeine theoretische Ideen und die praktischen Probleme, die zusammen die Natur der neuen religiösen Kunst bestimmt. Es konzentriert sich auf die Rolle der zentralen und regionalen Behörden in öffentlichen Aufträgen für die Kirche und über die Mechanismen, die die Natur solcher Arbeit beeinflusst.

Studie zkoumá proměny sakrálního prostoru josefínské éry. Konfrontuje obecné teoretické představy s praktickými problémy, které spoluutvářely podobu nových sakrálních projektů. Věnuje se roli centrálních i provinčních úřadů a rovněž mechanismům, jejichž prostřednictvím byla aktivně formována podoba veřejných církevních zakázek.

The article examines the changes to religious art during the era of the Josephine Reforms. It describes general theoretical ideas and the practical problems that together determined the nature of new religious art. It focuses on the role of the central and provincial authorities in public commissions for the Church and on the mechanisms that influenced the nature of such work.
