V originále

The objective of this article is to analyze results of the comparative study related to the financial literacy conducted among the students of the Faculty of Economic and Administration and the students of the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University. The empirical survey was focused on the examination of the financial literacy in terms of personal budgeting, numerical literacy, price literacy, payment methods, how to search for relevant information, breach of a contract and its consequences, indebtedness, right and obligation of consumers in the financial markets. The results of surveyed categories are compared between the students of economic and the students of law which implies interesting results and suggestions for further research.
