Abstract
The lecture focuses on the structural thought on theatre in the former Czechoslovakia. The special attention is paid to the influences of Asian Theatre genres on the Czech structuralist thinkers - e.g. on the theatre theory works by Jiří Veltruský. The lecture is based on the ongoing research project of the Department of Theatre Studies in Brno.
