This article deals with the current much discussed topic in the information society – copyright and related author rights on Internet. What's more, it is an European problem, or rather international. In connection with membership in the European Union and obligations deriving from it, EU law requires a higher level of assurance and protection of author’s rights. Concretely this article analyze the judgement of the Court of Justice of the European Union dealing with hyperlink placement conditions related to the right of authors to decide about publishing his work.
