The lecture deals with the issue of sociolinguistic code-switching in the speech of Czech sports commentators. It deals with a "microphone gaffe", i.e. a chance recording on their half-time chat that was not intended for the broadcast audiences. The presentation maps the contrasts between two codes in the Czech language, and interprets them with view to the dichotomy of stylization and authenticity of speech of individuals appearing on camera.

Tato plenární přednáška na mezinárodní konferenci o vícejazyčnosti ve sportu (fotbale) se zabývá přepínáním kódů v mluveném jazyce českých sportovních komentátorů. Na základě materiálu (náhodných nahrávek neveřejné interakce mezi komentátory během přestávky o poločasu) se zabývá kontrastem mezi spisovnou a obecnou češtinou. Zjištěný jev interpretuje je s ohledem na jazykovou stylizaci ve veřejné komunikaci a autentičnost, kterou nacházíme v neveřejném kontextu.
