Cílem přednášky „Interpretační možnosti slovesa "faa" a jeho výskyt v norských novinových textech“ bylo představit účastníkům Týdnu humanitních věd na Ústavu germanistiky, nordistiky a nederlandistiky MU toto norské sloveso, které má v norštině specifické postavení. Při tvorbě přednášky jsem vycházel ze stejnojmenné bakalářské práce, kterou jsem obhájil v roku 2015. Účastníky jsem obeznámil s problematikou zmíněného slovesa, které se může chovat nejen jako plnovýznamové, ale také jako sloveso pomocné. Prezentovány byly i výsledky praktické části mé práce, která zkoumala v jaké míře se jednotlivé interpretační možnosti slovesa vyskytují v norském tisku, konkrétně v novinách Aftenposten, DN a VG.

The purpose of the lecture “Interpretation possibilities of the verb "faa" and its occurrence in Norwegian newspaper articles“ was to introduce the problem of the Norwegian verb "faa" that has a specific position in the Norwegian language. This lecture was based on my bachelor thesis. I presented the abovementioned verb that can not only have a function of main verb, but it can act also as an auxiliary verb. I presented also the results of the practical part of my bachelor thesis which was based on theoretical knowledge and examined to what extent the aforementioned meanings of the verb occur in the Norwegian press, more specifically in the newspapers Aftenposten, DN and VG. This lecture was held during the Humanities Week 2016 at the Masaryk University.
