Mostly thanks to introduction of new mining techniques, the US once again became major producer of oil and gas. The consequences of this are visible both at home and on a global scale. This article assesses obstacles preventing these exports from happening and analyzes the potential consequences on major world markets. The oil and gas glut at home is also affecting the use of another traditional US energy source - coal. Coal is being squeezed out of the energy mix and is looking for new markets abroad. The article therefore analyses positioning and views of these exports on major world markets as well. ER -
