TY - CONF ID - 1401912 AU - Dvořák, Zdeněk - Kubek, Tomáš - Novák, P. - Stupka, I. - Veselý, Jiří PY - 2017 TI - USAGE OF THE ROTATION FLAP FOR SCALP DEFECTS SN - 9788088112068 KW - ROTATION FLAP N2 - The principle of a rotation flap is covering of a triangular defect by a semicircular flap rotated around the pivot point into the defect. The flap nutrition is based on the subdermal plexus on a random pattern of vascular supply. The ideal rotation flap should have the smallest closing tension and should be ideally performed with primary closure of a defect without formation of any secondary defects. These conditions seem to be met by the modified rotation flap that was published by Radjiv Ahuja in the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in 1988. ER -
