V originále

Vandalům, jejichž migrace patří k nejrozsáhlejším z migrací germánských kmenů vůbec, se podařilo vylodit v provinciích západořímské diecéze Afrika. Článek zkoumá příčiny jejich úsoěchu, politické a vojenské stavy římského impéria k Vandalům, jejich styky s původním obyvatelstvem severní Sfriky a zejména stupeň jejich romanizace.

In English

The migrations of the Vandals belong to the greatest in the Germanic world. The focus of the paper is the explanation of the causes of their successful disembarkation in the Roman dioecesis Africa, the political and military contacts with the Roman empire and with the original inhabitants of Roman Africa, especially then the romanization of Vandals.
