The paper deals with some of the most common typographical errors contained by Latin inscriptions collected in Corpus inscriptionum Latinarum, vol. IV. Part of the presentation focuses on the demonstration of various ways of the description of the context of the wrongly engraved words for Computerized Historical Linguistic Database of Latin Inscriptions of the Imperial Age (lldb.elte.hu).
