Anotace

Corporate social responsibility has been receiving ever-greater attention since the start of the millennium, but there has been far less, albeit increasing attention focusing on research into family firms. However, it would appear that little is known about the connections between these two areas. Therefore, the objective of this article is to determine the state of research into the socially responsible behaviour of family firms, and on the basis of this, identify possible areas for future research. In order to achieve this objective we chose a scoping review using Arksey and O'Malley's framework. The results of the scoping review show that more research should be focused on this area. Suitable areas for further research include the socially responsible behaviour of large family firms or specific types of family firms, the socially responsible behaviour of family firms in Central and Eastern Europe and the influence of culture on their socially responsible behaviour. A qualitative approach was judged to be the most suitable.

Anotace česky

Společenské odpovědnosti firem se dostává od začátku tohoto tisíciletí čím dál tím větší pozornosti. Daleko menší, avšak též vzrůstající pozornost, se upírá i na zkoumání rodinných firem. Zdá se však, že jen málo se ví o propojení těchto dvou oblastí. Proto je cílem tohoto článku zjistit, jaký je stav poznání o společensky odpovědném chování rodinných firem a na základě toho identifikovat možné směry budoucího výzkumu v této oblasti. Pro účely naplnění cíle bylo zvoleno scoping review s využitím Arksey and O'Malley's framework. Výsledky scoping review ukazují, že zaměření výzkumu do této oblasti má smysl. Za vhodné oblasti k dalšímu výzkumu lze považovat společensky odpovědné chování velkých rodinných firem či specific type of family firms, společensky odpovědné chování rodinných firem v Central and Eastern Europe či vliv kultury na jejich společensky odpovědné chování. Jako vhodnější se jeví využití kvalitativního přístupu.
