Anotace

V originále

There is no comprehensive approach to risk management in projects in enterprises doing business in the Czech Republic. The aim of the paper is to deal with the issue of Risk Management of projects in Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) in the Czech Republic. The paper is divided into three main parts. In the first part, several theoretical bases for the research are introduced, with an emphasis placed on risk within project. The main theoretical background of the paper is based on documents issued by the International Project Management Association (IPMA) and the Project Management Institute (PMI). The second part includes analysis of project risks in SME. With the use of a questionnaire survey, the level of Risk Management in SME operating in the Czech Republic was assessed. The questionnaire survey was conducted in four stages from 2015 to 2018. After identifying the most important risks in selected projects, there is possible to describe the development of the application of the Risk Management of project in SME over time. In the third part, proposals were made regarding the prevention of risks in general as well as to eliminate the specific risks that were shown to have arisen in the tested organizations.
