Anotace
A novel, pulse biamperometric technique was developed for enhancing the intensity of currents measured during electrochemical detection in flow systems. Two polarizable elctrodes in form of microfibers made of carbon platinum or their combination were utilized for biamperometric detection of dopamine in capillary detectors. Using a sequence of positive and negative potentials, measured signals were two orders of magnitude higher than those obtained for direct biamperometry. Such amplification resulted in forty times increase in sensitivity for dopamine detection. In a pulse mode, the passivation of electrodes was significantly reduced and the repeatability of individiual injections was markedly imporved.
