Der Aufsatz besteht aus zwei Teilen. Im ersten Teil erläutert der Autor, warum die Regesta Imperii im Jahr 2004 mit der Vervollständigung der Regesten Sigismunds von Luxemburg begonnen haben und warum schließlich eine umfassende Neubearbeitung derselben vorgezogen wurde. In der Folge beschreibt der Autor die Entwicklung des Sigismund-Projekts im Zeitraum 2004-2022 in Wien, Brünn und München, den aktuellen Stand der Regestenbearbeitung und der Archivforschung sowie die Pläne für die Zukunft. Abschließend skizziert er, wie sich die Richtlinien zur Gestaltung von Regesten, die im Sigmund-Projekt verwendet werden, im genannten Zeitraum entwickelt haben. Im zweiten Teil gibt der Autor die aktuelle Gestalt dieser Richtlinien wieder, die er im Jahr 2019 verfasst hat.

Článek se skládá za dvou částí. V první části autor vysvětluje, proč Regesta Imperii v roce 2004 zahájila práce na doplnění regestů listin Zikmunda Lucemburského a proč bylo nakonec upřednostněno komplexní nové zpracování Zikmundových regestů. Dále autor líčí vývoj Zikmundovského projektu v období 2004-2022 ve Vídni, Brně a Mnichově, současný stav práce na regestech a výzkumu v archivech, ale také plány do budoucna. Konečně autor nastiňuje, jak se v průběhu této doby vyvíjela pravidla pro tvorbu abstraktů používaných v Zikmundovském projektu. Ve druhé části autor přetiskuje aktuální podobu těchto pravidel, která sepsal v roce 2019.

The article comprises two sections. The first section opens with an explanation of why the work concerned with supplementing and completing the existing regesta of Sigismund of Luxembourg’s charters, which was started at Regesta Imperii in 2004, was abandoned in favour of a comprehensive revision. Following this, the paper gives a description of the development of the various projects in Vienna, Brno and Munich from 2004 to 2022, the progress which has already been made, both with regards to archival research and to the work on the abstracts themselves, as well as current plans for the future of the project. The first section concludes with an overview of how the guidelines for the creation of abstracts used in the Sigismund Project have evolved during this time. The second section of this paper includes the current version of these guidelines, which was written by the author himself in 2019.
