N2 - The oligochaete fauna was studied at 28 small slightly influenced streams of the Morava River basin (Czech Republic). The influence of environmental factors such as altitude, distance from origin, temperature, pH, oxygen content and other was evaluated. Altitude, substrate type and mean width were statistically significant factors with respect to composition of oligochaete assemblages.
