N2 - The chapter deals with the limited constitutional regulation of environmental protection complemented by the case law of the Constitutional Court. It describes actors of the formation of constitutional law and constitutional jurisdiction related to the protection of future generations and especially the environment. It analyses the basis of fundamental rights and protecting the environment by enshrining rights related to political freedoms. It also deals with the regulation of issues regarding responsibility and the level of protection of natural resources. There are references to future generations, sustainable development, financial sustainability, and the protection of national assets. In concludes with the good practices examples and proposals de lege ferenda.
