Anotace

Série pěti "dvojpřednášek" (4x 45 minut) realizovaných v ZS 2023/2024 pro U3V UP v Olomouci. V rámci jednotlivých přednášek je z různých perspektiv nahlíženo znění jako takové, potažmo hudba. Jádro výkladu tvoří evropská klasická hudba, nicméně "ke slovu"; se dostávají i jiné epochy, styly a žánry, stejně jako další umělecké druhy (literatura, výtvarné umění). Program si klade za cíl rozmanitými způsoby ukázat posluchačům, jak lze rozumět hudbě, a zorientovat je v jejích dějinných proměnách a souvislostech. Jednotlivé přednášky nesou následující názvy a tematická zaměření: 1. Na počátku byl zvuk; 2. Prostě klasika… ?, 3. …jazyky lidskými i andělskými; 4. Náruč věčnosti; 5. Hudba, jež tančí a zpívá.

Anotace anglicky

Series of five "double-lectures" (4x 45 minutes) realized in winter semester 2023/2024 for University of the Third Age of Palacký University in Olomouc. The lectures offer different perspectives to the interpretation of the sound as such and of music, respectively. The core of the lectures is made by the European classical music, but also other epochs, styles and genres, as well as other artistic forms (literature, pictorial art) are mentioned. The aim of the programme is to show in many different ways, how to understand music, and to orient them in its historical changes and interconnections. The thematic focuses and names of the lectures are: 1. In the beginning was the sound; 2. Simply the classic; 3. ...languages of human beings and of angels; 4. The arms of Eternity; 5. Music that dances and sings.
