Anotace

Kniha nabízí pohled do historického pozadí formulování koncepce informační gramotnosti jako určitého nástroje pro úspěšnou adaptaci na informační společnost. Nespokojuje se pouze s historickou analýzou, ale sleduje širší filozofická a pedagogická východiska celého fenoménu. Opírá se o myšlenky Luciana Floridiho, které kriticky analyzuje. V závěrečné části pak nabízí vlastní konceptualizaci tématu, která vyžaduje – v kontextu nástupu generativních systémů s umělou inteligencí a společenských změn – nové, hlubší pojetí tohoto fenoménu. Ukazuje, jakým novým způsobem se musíme s technologiemi naučit pracovat, abychom mohli žít v informačně udržitelné demokratické společnosti. Vzdělávání v práci s technikou a informacemi se zde stávají cestou k nově chápanému a hlubšímu humanismu.

Anotace anglicky

The book offers an insight into the historical background of the formulation of the concept of information literacy as a tool for successful adaptation to the information society. It is not content with a historical analysis alone, but traces the broader philosophical and pedagogical background of the whole phenomenon. It relies on the ideas of Luciano Floridi, which it critically analyses. In the final part, he offers his own conceptualization of the topic, which requires - in the context of the emergence of generative systems with artificial intelligence and social change - a new, deeper understanding of the phenomenon. It shows how we must learn to work with technology in new ways in order to live in an informationally sustainable democratic society. Here, education in working with technology and information becomes a pathway to a newly understood and deeper humanism.
