Anotace

The present text deals with various aspects of the Swedish army's activities in the Czech lands during the Thirty Years' War. The first part deals with the Estates' Revolt and Sweden's role in supporting the Czech Protestants, which culminates in Jan Amos Comenius' efforts to obtain Swedish support for the restoration of the situation before the Battle of White Mountain. The second part of the study deals with the siege of Brno by the Swedish army and the resistance of the local population against the Protestant Swedes. On the basis of these events, the text demonstrates the changes that took place in Central Europe during the Thirty Years' War: from the Reformation to the Counter-Reformation, from the Renaissance to the Baroque and, last but not least, from the perception of the Swedes as an ally ('we') to the perception of the Swedes as an enemy ('they').

Anotace česky

Předkládaný text se zabývá různými aspekty působení švédského vojska v českých zemích v průběhu třicetileté války. V první části jde o stavovské povstání a roli Švédska v podpoře českých protestantů, jež ústí až ve snahách Jana Amose Komenského o švédskou podporu pro znovunastolení stavu z období před bitvou na Bílé hoře. Ve druhé části se studie zabývá problematikou obležení Brna švédským vojskem a odporem zdejšího obyvatelstva proti protestantským Švédům. Na základě těchto událostí text prokazuje, k jakým změnám ve střední Evropě došlo v průběhu třicetilěté války: od reformace k protireformaci, od renesance k baroku a v neposlední řadě od vnímání Švédů jako spojence („my“) ke vnímání Švédů jako nepřítele (“oni“).

Der vorliegende Text befasst sich mit verschiedenen Aspekten der Aktivitäten der schwedischen Armee in den böhmischen Ländern während des Dreißigjährigen Krieges. Der erste Teil befasst sich mit dem Ständeaufstand und der Rolle Schwedens bei der Unterstützung der böhmischen Protestanten, die in den Bemühungen von Jan Amos Comenius gipfelt, schwedische Unterstützung für die Wiederherstellung der Situation vor der Schlacht am Weißen Berg zu erhalten. Der zweite Teil der Studie befasst sich mit der Belagerung Brünns durch die schwedische Armee und dem Widerstand der örtlichen Bevölkerung gegen die protestantischen Schweden. Anhand dieser Ereignisse zeigt der Text die Veränderungen auf, die während des Dreißigjährigen Krieges in Mitteleuropa stattfanden: von der Reformation zur Gegenreformation, von der Renaissance zum Barock und nicht zuletzt von der Wahrnehmung der Schweden als Verbündete ("wir") zur Wahrnehmung der Schweden als Feind ("sie").
