Energy diplomacy is a foreign policy instrument and safeguard of economic and energy security. It also impacts the oil and gas contracts that play major role in the energy exploration and production. There are a number of different instruments available to producing states and investing companies, each with different economic and political implications. The session will examine energy diplomacy and its role in the legal framework in the energy industry.
