In my presentation, I will explore the creative integration of international student projects into legal English classes to enhance cross-cultural competence and global legal skills. Student participation in such collaborative projects not only fosters the practical application of legal English in an international context and a deeper understanding of comparative law, but also equips them with valuable transferable skills such as autonomy, communication, team work, critical thinking, problem-solving, time management or digital literacy. I am going to share insights from two successful projects that I have been running in my legal English classes: International Student Podcasts and International Online Student Conference; highlighting the pedagogical approach, challenges to overcome, and the feedback received from participants. The session aims to inspire educators how to implement international collaboration in their curriculum, emphasizing the practical outcomes of such projects: improving legal language proficiency and preparing students for the global legal market by exposing them to diverse legal systems and cultures.
