In this workshop, led by Lucie Racyn, we'll practically test some of the aforementioned AI apps after we review some basic rules for writing a prompt. After the introduction, we'll work in teams in a simulated online environment to recreate real-world scenarios of interactions and manipulation with information. Each team will have a unique challenge to tackle using AI tools. Some experience with generative AI tools is welcome but not necessary. After the workshop, a discussion of the nature of information evaluation from the POV of a librarian in the age of available GenAI will take place.
