The workshop was focused on the Venetian painting and painters in the Baroque period, including the reception of their work in other European countries, with Tiepolo beeing the key protagonist of the Venetian art of the 18th century. The presentations covered the broad field of Venetian painting of the 18th century in Europe, both profane and sacred (wall- and ceiling-paintings – oil on canvas, fresco, mixed techniques).
