Indre Finnmark er et område som historisk sett har vært nært knyttet til den finsk-ugriske befolkningen, samer og kvener. Sameksistensen mellom norsk som representant for de indoeuropeiske språkene og samisk eller kvensk som representanter for de uralske språkene kan ha resultert i flere særtrekk. Målet med denne artikkelen er å identifisere trekkene knyttet til det samiske kasussystemet: atypisk stedsperspektiv og atypisk preposisjonsbruk. I analysen baserer jeg meg på data fra Nordisk dialektkorpus (versjon 4.0) – en elektronisk database som inneholder opptak av spontantale fra ulike regioner i Norge, Danmark, Sverige, Island og Færøyene. Indre Finnmark er representert ved tre steder: Kautokeino, Tana og Lakselv.

The article deals with the Norwegian dialect of the interior of Finnmark county. This is an area that has historically been closely linked to the Finno-Ugric population. The coexistence of Norwegian as a representative of the Indo-European languages and Sámi as a representative of the Uralic languages may have resulted in several specific features. The aim of this article is to identify those features related to the Sámi case system: occurrence of atypical prepositions and an unusual local perspective. In my analysis, I rely on data from the Nordic Dialect Corpus (Nordisk dialektkorpus) – an electronic database that contains records of authentic dialect conversations in various regions of Norway. The interior of the county of Finnmark is represented by three places: Kautokeino, Tana and Lakselv.
