The chapter deals with the life and work of K. Sezemský. It analyzes his collecting activities in the fields of art brut, naïve art, and spiritualism within the context of the period. It describes his popularization efforts, curatorial projects, and editorial work. The text of the chapter is written in the form of an encyclopedia and a lexicon of artists, developed on a scholarly basis within the discipline of art history, as is evident from the introductory sections of the book.
