The international symposium COMMUNITY: Building and Living Shared Environments focuses on the theme of community as both a (utopian) starting point and a practical possibility of being and functioning together. During the symposium, the aim is to discuss philosophical issues related to the theme of community while creating community spaces in the garden of the Center for Art and Ecology at UMPRUM (Kafkárna). Working in groups together with the Berlin-based architectural group raumlabor, the event builds on an already started collaboration from the October 2022 festival reEDOcate me! (Floating University Berlin). In the early evening of each day, public lectures and film screenings are held that thematically relate to the theme of community. Everything culminates in an open day on Sunday, when the results of the groups' work will be presented, lectures and artistic performances will take place.

Mezinárodní symposium COMMUNITY: Building and Living Shared Environments se zaměřuje na téma komunity jako na myšlenkové (utopické) východiska i praktické možnosti společného bytí a fungování. Během symposia je cílem diskutovat filozofické otázky spojené s tématem komunity a zároveň vytvářet komunitní prostory v zahradě Centra pro umění a ekologii UMPRUM (Kafkárna). Pracovat se bude ve skupinách společně s berlínským architektonickým uskupením raumlabor, čímž akce navazuje na již započatou spolupráci z října 2022 z festivalu reEDOcate me! (Floating University Berlin). V podvečer každého dne se konají veřejné přednášky a promítání filmů, které se tematicky vztahují k tématu komunity. Vše vyvrcholí nedělním "otevřeným dnem", kdy budou představeny výsledky práce jednotlivých skupin, konat se budou přednášky i umělecké performance.
