This review examines contemporary issues in the situation of employability for people with disabilities in the labor market. The concept of this research is based on the theory of Lazarová and Kolar (2007) about the methods of personality development. They look outwards on the 4 major areas. First path to yourself is focuses on the individual person and his relation to oneself. Second to the others is the practice of those social skills that enable a person to improve relations in society. Third to the self-transcendence is meant in terms of human development, which is close to the ideal of an autonomous, tolerant and non-ideological-oriented man. Fourth to the profession is about development of man's relation to the profession and development of skills that are associated with its demands. The target group is the people with disabilities (physical, auditory, visual or mental) in the age of 18-60 years. The key research methods are questionnaires, interviews and practical application of methods of personal development like a social and psychological training, social "experiment" method, active listening, group games, assertive behavior method, brainstorming, simulation games, stimulant techniques and relaxation and psychomotor games on the target group of clients. Preliminarily results are four meetings with use of appropriate techniques for personal development, especially in the field of applied and non-traditional physical activities. The expected conclusions are development of techniques for their personal growth.
