Anotace

V originále

Social workers are not well-organized, and their several professional organizations do not represent social work interests in a significant way in the Czech Republic. Due to the lack of self-organization, social workers are not considerably involved in policy-making. Their interests, which are not necessarily formulated as the social work interests, are represented and promoted by other actors, such as giant producers of social services, well-organized unions of social services providers, or state, regional, and local administration regulating social work occupation and education. The authors describe the above context and suggest the typology of secondary social work interest representation in the Czech Republic.
