This lecture was meant to introduce the students of the inter-university PhD programme in social psychology in social representations (in the course titled "Social and cultural representations" organised by Université du Québécois a Montréal in co-operation with UP8, UL2, UTM and UB. The core of the lecture focused on the theory behind the article "Legal Concepts as Social Representations" and used the examples of research conducted on social representations of legal concepts published in Smejkalová, T. et al.
