The paper investigates the distribution and semantics of Czech adjectival expressions containing a temporal component from the perspective of event semantics in the nominal domain. The claim is that different types of the expressions in question involve a different classifier component that determines their tense, aspectual and quantificational properties. The resulting classification indicates that Czech can be analyzed as an optional nominal tense language.
