Anotace

V originále

In this paper, I present a formal analysis of meaning/form correspondences in various types of derivationally complex numerical expressions in Czech. I examine their morphological make-up and their non-trivial quantificational effects that concern counting different kinds of entities: objects, groups, parts, subkinds etc. I propose a unified nanosyntactic and nanosemantic approach that explains how their semantics arise compositionally in syntax by building abstract structure that are then mapped onto morphology.
