The publisher of the Hungarian weekly Magyar hang has lodged a State aid complaint with the European Commission in April 2025, challenging the Hungarian Government´s advertising praktice in the Hungarian Media. This is an interesting step that could demonstrate the potential of State aid law in addressing the Rule of Law crisis in Europe.
