After publishing several qualitative meta-analyses and systematic reviews on the topic recently (Curran et al., 2019; Ladmanová et al., 2022; Vybíral et al. 2024, Klatte et al., 2023; Ladmanová et al., 2024), some aspects of the fragile theme remain underrepresented in the qualitative research in psychotherapy. Sexualizing of therapeutic conversations during sessions, unsuitable procedures, imposing of therapists’ values, inappropriate ethical level of treatment according to ethical guidance, crossing of various boundaries or contextualized identifications and evaluation of negative events and effects are only some of weakly explored sub-themes. Short-term versus longterm outcomes, or gains are another example. To study the negative experiences from clients’ perspective during psychotherapy seems like never ending story. Involvement of various testimonies from social network could open door leading to systematically uncovered evidence. Paper offers identification of weekly explored sub-themes of negative experiences and gives some examples from social network testimonials. Here are the voices we need to hear.
